How to make a Full Backup in Cpanel

Before you do a full backup on your hosting account, make sure the hosting disk space is sufficient to do a backup.
Here's how to make a full backup in cPanel:

  1. cPanel Login - If you are a MikyHost.com customer, you can log in to cPanel via the Client Area. In the Client Area, select the Service>My services menu, then select the service product that you have purchased. Then scroll down, in the shortcut section, you can choose one of the cPanel menus. To go to the front page of cPanel, you can select the Home icon or the homepage.
  2. On the “files” menu, select “Backups”
  3. Click on “download or generate a full website backup”
  4. This is what it looks like in the image below:
    1. Backup Destination : Leave it alone
    2.Fill in your active email
    3. Click “Generate Backup”

  5. At this stage, the backup process is running
    And you will receive a notification via email when the backup is complete.
    After the backup is complete, you download your backup file. Click “Go Back”.
  6. After clicking “Go Back”, you will see a page like the one below. you can download the backup file from the link provided.

Tips:
- Perform backups as above regularly, so that if needed it can be restored again.
– If you are going to generate a new full backup, you can delete the old backup, so that the hosting space is not full.
