File Upload Operation in File Manager

Upload is a way to send files (for example files: pictures, programs, music, pdf documents, etc.) from a personal computer to a server system and the files or data will be published on the internet so that the uploaded data can be viewed and retrieved (download). by another person or crowd.

Or another definition of upload is a process of transmitting a file or data from a personal computer system to another computer system (server) in the opposite direction to download. From the internet network, the user who performs the upload process is the process where the user sends the file to another computer that requests the file. In short, the process of transmitting or sending files or data, from a personal computer to the internet network.

The following are the steps in operating File Upload in the File Manager:

  1. To do this, go to File Manager and then access the directory or folder where you want to upload your files.
  2. For example, if you want to upload a file to the pubic_html directory, then access the public_html directory by clicking this directory on the left panel (directory tree). Then click the Upload button on the toolbar.
  3. Then you will be taken to the next page, click the Choose Files button then select the file you want to upload. After you click the Open button, the upload process will start automatically. When the upload process is complete, click the Back To menu.
