What is VPN?

Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a communication technology that allows you to connect to a public network and use it to join a local network. In this way, the same rights and settings will be obtained as in the LAN itself, even though it is actually using a public owned network.

From a network point of view, one of the problems of the internet network (public IP) is that it does not have good support for security. Meanwhile, from the company's point of view, IP is a basic need to exchange data between branch offices or with company partners. VPN appears to solve this problem. A corporate network that uses IP infrastructure to connect with its branch offices by way of private addressing by securing the transmission of data packets.
